Just for Fun Agility

Dogs will learn agility obstacles appropriately sized for non-competition agility training. They will also learn to focus on you and your directions while enjoying themselves.

Who Should Come?

Dogs of all breeds and ages are welcome to join, as well as any owner who wants to have fun with their dog while learning new skills.


There are no prerequisites for this course, but basic obedience is helpful.

Ragility

This is a new, non-traditional sport that you won't find anywhere else! We've combined the sport of rally obedience with agility to make RAGILITY! Learn to read and execute rally obedience signs, then to follow a course with both signs and agility obstacles.

Rally Obedience

Rally obedience, also known as Rally-O or just Rally, is a dog sport that blends obedience training with elements of agility, where dog and handler teams navigate a course of numbered signs, performing specific exercises indicated on each sign, emphasizing teamwork and communication. Handlers are encouraged to use verbal cues, body language, and positive reinforcement to guide their dogs through the course. Please note, this is a non-competition level course.

Nose Work

Introduce dogs to the awesome game of Nose Work! Dogs of any age, size, or breed can play! Nose Work helps build confidence and provides a structured opportunity for dogs to do what they do best: SNIFF! No prior experience in any dog sport is required. Dogs will immediately be introduced to odor using a marker-based system. In addition, students will learn about odor hygiene, proper use of equipment, basic searching concepts, hide placement, searching behaviors, scent theory, and odor obedience.

Who Should Come?

This class is appropriate for dogs of any age, breed, size, or physical ability and handlers of all ages and abilities. It can benefit dogs that lack confidence, dogs that are reactive around other dogs and/or people, convalescing dogs, dogs with anxieties that may prevent them from joining other group training classes, dogs with hearing or sight impairments, and retired conformation, competition, service, or working dogs in need of a "job."


Any dog, regardless of size, age, shape, or color. Must have a nose!

This is a competition level class, but beginners are welcome.

Dogs must be crated in between searches. Limited number of crates will be provided.

Who Should Come?

This class is suitable for handlers who need ring practice and would like instruction from a professional on how to exhibit their dogs to their best advantage. They may be working with any level dog from novice through champion.
