Fine tuning dogs’ social behaviors is the focus of this class. Emphasis will be put on allowing handling by a stranger, walking politely through crowds, greeting other people with dogs politely and other impulse control exercises. On the final week of this class, a mock Canine Good Citizen test will be administered. Owners wishing to do canine assisted therapy work, pass the AKC’s *CGC test or simply improve their dogs’ behavior will benefit from this class.
*Dogs of any breed or mixture are eligible for the title of AKC Canine Good Citizen.
Limited to 8 dogs.
Session lasts 8 weeks.
