Advanced Level 1: Dogs must be competent on all obstacles including weaves and be able to stay at the start line while the handler leads out. Handlers must understand and be able to perform lead out push and lead out pivot, back cross, front cross, and blind cross. The dog must willingly following body and verbal cues, do rapid sits and downs on the table, be able to go ahead of the handler when told to, be able to move laterally on a “get out” command and do reverse flow pivots.
Advanced Level 2: Dogs must be ready to compete. They must demonstrate an increasing ability to perform obstacles regardless of entry direction or orientation, be working on right, left and switch commands, and be working toward layering when instructed by handler. Dogs should be working on serpentines, pinwheels and boxes. Handlers must be improving in their ability to analyze agility courses appropriately for their own dogs.
Session is 8 weeks long.
