What is Canine
Musical Freestyle? Canine Musical Freestyle is
a performance sport that draws on obedience, rally and
agility exercises that come together as owners and their
dogs move in sync to music. Freestyle is for all types
dogs of all ages and is for students who would like
to compete for titles or just have a rollicking great
time with their canine companions.
Who should come?
Canine Musical Freestyle is for students who have already
completed a beginner basic obedience class.
What
will we learn?
The entry level class will cover basic moves (such as
heeling on the left and right sides, front position
work, pace changes, circling, spins, backing, weave
variations, jumps, and some tricks), sequences and transition
moves, music selection, music editing, and choreography.
During the session, students can begin developing a
routine for either Musical Freestyle or Heelwork to
Music.
How long
is each class? 90 minutes.
How long
does a sesson last? Sessions vary in length.
What does
it cost? $200 for 8 week session
